# Order Types

> Understanding different order types in the WineDirect Fulfillment system

Order Types allow you to sort and distinguish different orders based on how or why they are placed. Certain order types, such as clubs, have special functions within the WineDirect Fulfillment platform and are translated to integrated fulfillment systems differently.

  **Please Note**: Although most order types are automatically batched to our fulfillment platform, ShipCompliant does not automatically release the Club order type. This order type must be manually released by the client to successfully batch over to fulfillment.
