For WineDirect eCommerce clients who use Product Sync please read below Product Sync does not currently sync over Greeting Card SKUs to Fulfillment in the correct format needed for shipping. Please configure these types of SKUs first in your fulfillment account with your Account Coordinator or Account Manager before attempting to sync the SKUs.

Greeting Card Options

WD offers personalized greeting card options to complement gift orders. When your customer selects a greeting card advertised on your website and adds a personal note to the gift message area, WineDirect will print the message on the card and include it in the package before shipping.

How it works:

  1. Choose a greeting card from our selection below, or provide your branded card.
  2. If you provide your branded card, please send a sample for testing.
  3. Submit a Non Wine SKU Setup Form to csoperations@winedirect.com with the SKU that will be used.
  4. When your customer adds a greeting card to their cart, along with the gift message, the associated SKU should be sent along with the wine items ordered.
  5. Gift messages without an associated greeting card SKU will print on the packing slip by default.
  6. Refer to the rate card for pricing.

Specifications and Requirements:

  • Our default font is “Lucida Handwriting”; size 12.
  • Greeting Card character limit is 2000, including spaces.
  • With the layout of either Landscape or Portrait style available.
Custom gift card stock: we recommend using a cardstock thickness of .013 inches Foldable Our WineDirect card stock is 13 pt (.013 inch cardstock thickness), Recycled Matte Cover; card size 7” x 10” (folds to 7” x 5”). Postcard We recommend card stock that is 13 pt (.013 inch cardstock thickness), Recycled Matte Cover, card size 7” x 5”.
