Using the integration, you can create automated messages in RedChirp that will be sent when the following events occur in each shipment’s lifecycle:
  • A shipment’s information has been received (a.k.a. label created)
  • A package is available for pickup
  • A package has been picked up
  • A package is out for delivery (remind them someone 21+ needs to sign for the package)
    • This is an amazing way to reduce returns!
  • An unusual event (aka an exception) has occurred
  • A package was delivered
    • You can configure automated messages to be sent a certain amount of time after a delivery has been made, for example “How are your first sips?” style messages
Because these are RedChirp automated messages, they come with several advantages:
  • The text messages come from the same RedChirp phone number(s) your customers use to text with you already.
  • The text conversation is two-way!
    • If your customer has a question or needs to make a changethey can just text you back .
    • RedChirp will alert the person or people assigned to that phone number.
    • And you can continue the conversation, human to human, in the same thread.
  • Every message sent is visible to your team; it’s part of their existing RedChirp conversation.
  • You can use RedChirp’s extensive tools to customize the contents of your automated messages, add delays, build drips, and more.
    • For example, you could create an automated message to go out three weeks after a package was delivered asking your customer how they are enjoying their wine and offering a discount on their next order.

Turning on the WineDirect Fulfillment integration

First, tell your Enterprise Success Manager or Account Manager at WineDirect Fulfillment that you would like your RedChirp integration turned on. Once your credentials have been submitted to the above form, RedChirp staff will be altered and will complete the configuration of your WineDirect Fulfillment integration. Then you can set up your automated messages in the Main Menu > Automated Messages > Settings! There are five that you can add:
  • WineDirect Fulfillment: Shipped
  • WineDirect Fulfillment: Out for delivery
  • WineDirect Fulfillment: Delivered
  • WineDirect Fulfillment: Available for Pickup
  • WineDirect Fulfillment: Picked Up

A few additional details about this integration

The name of the recipient RedChirp will use for these Automated Messages is the name that WineDirect Fulfillment has for the order’s “ship to consumer”. The phone number RedChirp will send these Automated Messages to are the phone number(s) in the WineDirect Fulfillment field called “notification phone”. Start using RedChirp today!
