This article instructs how to execute an Inventory Move from one sub-inventory to another within the fulfillment portal. Manage Sub-Inventory Levels interface Moving inventory to reserve or hold for an upcoming allocation is easy with just a few clicks!

Step One:

  • Select a Supplier
  • Choose the Fulfillment Warehouse
  • Select the From SubInventory* (this is the sub-inventory that product is being pulled from)
The sub-inventories that will be available on the drop-down under the From Subinventories section are client-specific. If you are a bi-coastal client, you will find the additional two From Subinventories locations listed:
  • Transfer to GLW
  • Transfer to SMA
Attention: These are not active sub-inventories to select when moving inventory. If inventory needs to be transferred to a different warehouse, the submission needs to be completed via an Inter-Center Transfers submission.
Pro-Tip: The default sub-inventory is “Primary” for all products.

Step Two:

Type in and select the SKU from the drop-down field. The field will populate and alert the client of how many bottles or units are available to move of the SKU: SKU selection and inventory availability
  • Select the Move to SubInventory from the dropdown
  • Select the Quantity to move
  • Repeat this action to list the desired movement:

Step Three:

Once all desired SKU and SKU amounts have been listed, clicking Submit Move Request will complete the action, and the inventory will be adjusted in real time. Submit move request confirmation All moves will be reflected immediately in your inventory listing and can be visible in the Inventory Activity & Owned Inventory Pages.
