Advanced Search Options

Using the advanced search options in the WineDirect fulfillment portal you can now search for your orders with delivery exceptions by:
  • Account
  • Custom date range
  • One of three pre-built date ranges
  • Order type
  • Delivery status
  • Number of exceptions on the delivery

Order Types Available

Clients can select from various Order Types to search including:
  • Club Order
  • Corporate Gift Order
  • Daily Order
  • Personalization Order

Export Functionality

After generating your exceptions list, you will be able to export that exceptions list to an Excel file.

Automatic Email Notifications

WD has released a Delivery Exception Email template that allows you to automatically email customers and notify them of delivery exceptions. This template can be managed within Administration > Templates > Exception.

Key Features:

  • Custom email templates with your branding for each type of delivery exception
  • Automatic sending when our tracking system detects an exception
  • One email per day maximum to prevent spam
  • Customer notification so they can contact you or the carrier to resolve issues

How Delivery Exceptions Work

Delivery Exceptions identify orders with:
  • Unsuccessful delivery attempts
  • A change in status to an order
  • All exceptions are logged in Orders > Delivery Exceptions

Return Process:

  • Standard Orders: Returned to WineDirect after maximum unsuccessful delivery attempts
  • Three-tier Shipments: Returned to the designated state retailer (our Client Services Team will reach out when this occurs)

Managing Results

  • Search for specific results using the filters
  • Export results to an Excel file
  • Sort by selecting any column header to organize results within that column

Three-tier shipments follow a different return process and are sent back to the designated state retailer rather than WineDirect.
